The 2014 SAVA Soiree is almost here!
Thank you to everyone who attended the 2013 SAVA Soiree. We had a lot of fun, all while raising money and awareness for this important issue. It means so much to the staff, volunteers, and clients of SAVA Center to see so much support from the members of our community. This year, learn more about our Prevention Education department and help us continue to reach over 4,000 youth each year!
Join us September 26th, 6:00pm-8:30pm at the Embassy Suites Loveland
Meet our Keynote Speakers
Katie Hnida graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Psychology. She is a pioneer in the world of sports, being the first woman to play, and score, in a NCAA Division One football game. In 2004, Katie spoke publicly about the sexual harassment and rape she endured while on the football team at the University of Colorado. She has become a prominent speaker and advocate on violence against women.
Lydia Tillman survived an unspeakable act of violence on July 4, 2011 in Fort Collins. She bravely escaped her burning home after suffering a brutal sexual assault, physical violence, and arson. Because of Lydia’s strength, the perpetrator was apprehended and many other women were saved from experiencing this violence. Lydia is now a mentor for high school students in SAVA’s sexual violence prevention programs.
